About us
“We do not let our age restrict the good we can do.
We are giving it our best to progress humanity to a better place."
We are giving it our best to progress humanity to a better place."
Voice of Calling is a nonprofit organization of young computer scientists established in 2018 to help those who are in need of computer science education. Our primary purpose is to provide online and offline education about computer software and hardware for those who have little access to computer education. We also research computer science and develop applications. No matter what the calling is, whether it be coding related, robotics related, or just people in need, we go and give it our best to make, not only our community a better place, but the planet.
Our identity is not based upon the fact that we’re computer scientists ready to teach or give, rather, our identity is based on our purpose to help people.
Our current projects include:
Future of Tanzania: A computer programming education initiative for talented students at Tanzania Science High School
Showdown in Tanzania: An algorithm coding competition designed to challenge and inspire high school and university students across Tanzania
AtaxiaV: A rehabilitation system in development to provide support and hope for patients battling the rare and incurable disease Ataxia
SARA-Q: A system that conducts the Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA-Q) test on a cloud system, making it more accurate, quantitative, and able to collect a wider range of data.
Voice of Piece: An online platform empowering African artists to showcase and sell their works, ensuring fair compensation for their creativity
Voice of Dream: A coding and robotics camp enriching the lives of children in foster care and low-income families in the United States
Through these projects and more, Voice of Calling is committed to bridging the digital divide and fostering a world where technology empower all.

Meeting
Every Saturday, we meet through Zoom at 6:30 PM to create educational coding videos, fix computers, and prepare for our next big project by fundraising and planning.
